Burgers, fries & shakes
You're going to need: (for 6 smaller burgers)
-300gr of cooked black beans
-2 tablespoons of bread crumbs
-2 tablespoons of sunflower seeds (roasted)
-1/2 teaspoon of cumin seeds
-1 teaspoon of paprika
-a pinch of salt & pepper
Put beans in food processor with cumin, paprika, salt, pepper and make a chunky puree. Mix that with bread crumbs and chopped onion and sunflower seeds, make patties and bake them on 200°C for 20 minutes.
You're going to need:
-1 kg of potatoes
-2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
-1 teaspoon of oregano
-a pinch of salt
Peal the potatoes and cut them lengthwise and cut each piece into sticks. Put them on a baking tray, sprinkle with oil, season with salt and oregano, and mix until every piece is covered with oil. Spread them on a tray and bake at 200°C for 30-40 minutes.
You're going to need: (for 3 shakes)
-600 ml of soy milk
-1 vanilla bean
-1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Put bananas and soy milk in a blender with vanilla extract and add vanilla seeds* and blend well. Cool it down and serve cold.
*how to extract vanilla seeds from the bean:
put a sharp knife right in the center of the bean and, pressing the top of the bean onto a board with your finger, cut it lengthwise. Then, pull apart the bean and run the knife blade side down form the top (where you're holding it) to the bottom, scraping the seeds out of it.
