Lentils fauxlognese

You're going to need:
-100gr brown lentils soaked overnight
-1 small carrot
-1/2 onion
-thumb size piece of celeriac
-1 clove of garlic
-1 can of plum tomatoes (diced)
-100gr of whole wheat pasta
-salt & pepper to taste
Cook pasta following the instructions on the package. While it's cooking make the sauce - chop onion, and saute it for 2 minutes. Finely grate carrot & celeriac, chop garlic and add it to the pan. Add lentils, stir, and pour in canned tomatoes. Season with salt & pepper and cook for 5-7 minutes. Given that whole wheat pasta usually takes about 9 minutes to cook, your sauce will be ready just in time for pasta to be drained and added to it. Mix well and cook for about 1 minute, allowing the pasta to soak up the sauce.
